Foraged Florals
A walk, a gathering, a bouquet
An afternoon of slow gathering, seasonal making, and shared learning. We began with a guided walk through the park—identifying native plants and ethically foraging select invasives (with permission, of course). Back at the tables, we shared tea and cake, then arranged our findings with locally grown flowers into wild, one-of-a-kind bouquets.
This workshop was a celebration of overlooked materials and small-scale beauty—a hands-on experiment in sustainable floristry, plant literacy, and community care.
All proceeds supported the Altadena Seed Library and its work in seed saving, gardening education, and growing local resilience.
